At The Valley Retreat I provide one to one mindfulness and meditation sessions primarily for individuals but I can accommodate sessions for small groups of no more than three people tailored to your specific needs.
One of the most important aspects of my sessions is their therapeutic benefit. We are aiming to release the built up tensions of life. There is no set course. Each session is led according to the experience of the guest.
The sessions are open and naturally flow towards a deeper realisation of where we are in this moment.
Each session will include teaching, meditations and discussions. Each session is a unique mixture of talking therapy and direct experience of relaxation techniques. All guests are encouraged to ask questions and share experience in a safe non- judgemental space.
The key aim is relaxation. Relaxation means learning to let go. Seeing the truth of change. Learning to be in the present.
It is well understood that when we are developing a regular practice we may faces apparent difficulties or challenges, especially in the beginning, and therefore I am always available to offer advice and support when needed.
At The Valley Retreat there is an emphasis on individual one to one sessions as this has proved to be the most effective and focused way for the development of a regular, relaxed and committed practice.
Sessions usually last 75 minutes at a cost of £35 or £45 for a pair but again these can be tailored to your personal circumstance.
